SGEU Public Service Sector to host appreciation supper for seniors
The SGEU Public Service Sector’s 2nd annual Senior Appreciation Supper will be held Sunday, October 16 from 12 noon – 4 pm at the Regina Seniors Centre (2134 Winnipeg Street).
“This supper is to express our appreciation to seniors for all they have done to make our community, province, and country what they are today,” said Barry Nowoselsky, Vice-President of SGEU’s Public Service Sector.
“We’re very excited to have SGEU host this supper at the Centre,” said Jackie Harrower, manager of marketing at the Regina Seniors Centre. “A lot of seniors can’t afford to have a meal like this. So, it’s a wonderful opportunity for them.”
Musical entertainment for the afternoon will be provided by Dennis and Curtis Ficor.
Supper is free of charge and all seniors are invited to attend.
