Saskatchewan Celebrates Health Care Providers' Week
October 23-30 is Health Care Providers’ Week in Saskatchewan. On this week, SGEU encourages people across Saskatchewan to recognize how important these workers are to our health care system.
Health Care Providers may work behind the scenes or in support roles, but their contributions are vital to patient care, and to keeping our health care facilities running smoothly. They are continuing care assistants, licenced practical nurses, medical laboratory and diagnostic technologists and technicians, environment and laundry service workers, food service staff, office workers, therapy and recreation workers, and maintenance staff – just to name a few.
SGEU is proud to represent many of Saskatchewan’s Health Care Providers. Their hard work and expertise ensure that Saskatchewan people receive first-rate care throughout the province.
