Students rally to save NORTEP-NORPAC

NORTEP-NORPAC students from La Ronge gathered at the Legislative Building on Wednesday to protest the termination of funding for their program.

NORTEP-NORPAC is a unique and highly successful post-secondary education program that provides northern students with local access to teacher education and pre-professional studies. A 2014 survey showed that over 90% of graduates are working as teachers in the north.
