Regina Mobile Crisis Services’ unionized workers – members of SGEU's Community Based Organization bargaining unit – will hold an information picket to express frustration with the lack of progress at the bargaining table.
Crisis Workers are concerned about their health and safety – and the safety of their clients – as a result of working alone on weekdays. With only one Crisis Worker scheduled from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, Crisis Workers are experiencing ethical dilemmas, mental exhaustion, safety concerns, dropped calls and delays in providing services – putting client safety at risk.
