How to enter

  1. Visit SGEU on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to find our Labour Day question post.
  2. Leave a comment on the question post with your answer to the question.
  3. Gain multiple draw entries by leaving a comment on each post on each social media channel. Participants are granted a maximum of three entries by leaving one comment on the post on each of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Eligibility
Open to residents of Canada. No purchase is required to enter the draw.

Agreement to rules
By entering this draw, participants agree to abide by SGEU’s Official Rules and decisions. SGEU reserves the right to refuse, withdraw, or disqualify entries at our sole discretion. By entering, participants agree to accept SGEU’s decision as final and binding.
 
Entry period
The entry period begins on September 2, 2022 at 12:00 P.M. (CST). The entry period closes on September 5, 2022 at 11:59 P.M. (CST).

Odds
The odds of winning are dependent upon the number of entries received.
 
Selection and notification of the winner
After closing date, entries across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram will be collated and entered into a random draw. The winner will be notified by September 7, 11:59 P.M. by direct message on one of the social media platforms, based on the location of winning comment. The winner must acknowledge this message within 24 hours of it being sent or they forfeit the prize, in which case a second winner will be randomly drawn.
 
Rights granted by entrant
By participating, the entrant grants SGEU permission to post their name and/or social media handle publicly to announce the winner. Participants guarantee that their entry is original work and does not violate proprietary or intellectual property rights.
 
Limitation of liability
Through entry, participants agree to release and hold harmless SGEU and its subsidiaries, affiliates and employees against all claims of liability, illness, injury, death, loss that occurs directly or indirectly from participation in the draw or the use/misuse of the awarded prize.
 
Terms and conditions
Participants agree to a complete release of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. This draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered or association with Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Participants who create or use multiple Twitter accounts will be ineligible.
