Every June, Canadians come together to celebrate Filipino Heritage Month. It marks an important time to recognize and highlight the many invaluable contributions Canadians of Filipino heritage make each and every day to the country we call home.

As people take the time to acknowledge the important impact of the Filipino community, we must also recognize the rise of anti-Asian hate and discrimination that they continue to face. It is up to each of us to act in ways that create safety for everyone and to intervene to stop any hate or discrimination we may witness.
