Dear members,
Next week, members of your negotiating committee will be visiting a facility near you to provide an update on bargaining. We encourage you to take part in a meeting to hear the information and have discussions regarding the status of negotiations. Download a full schedule of meeting dates and locations.
Please note: members are to attend on their own time – no union leave will be provided. This is not employer paid time. Some managers may let you attend for a short period of work time, but you must receive permission from your supervisor in advance. If you want to discuss other matters not related to bargaining, it must be done on your own time.
A list of meeting dates and locations will also be posted on the union boards in your facilities. For those who are unable to travel to one of the meeting locations and have questions about bargaining (i.e. members from Smeaton, Naicam, Weyakwin, Cumberland House, Rose Valley, Sandy Bay, Pinehouse, Creighton), please contact the bargaining committee representative from your area or your bargaining chair, Tanya Schmidt.
